Mr. Brown has enjoyed a distinguished career as an Air Force fighter pilot, engineer, NASA astronaut, NASA manager, and corporate manager. His unique combination of operational, technical, and managerial experience has made him an invaluable asset to the Air Force, NASA, and the corporations he has worked for.  After a 20 year career with the Air Force that included two trips to space on the space shuttle, he joined industry and has worked for a series of corporations in ever increasing roles of responsibility.  In 2008, Mr. Brown was the President and Chief Operating Officer of MTC, which was acquired by BAE Systems in June 2008.  MTC was an industry-recognized provider of aircraft modernization and sustainment, professional services, C4ISR, and logistics solutions to the Department of Defense and national security agencies.  Since the acquisition, Mr. Brown served as the VP&GM of Aerospace Solutions (formerly MTC), a portion of the Customer Solutions Operating Group.  In October 2008, Mr. Brown transferred to the Strategy & Planning group at BAE Systems Inc. to lead the  Inc. UAV Initiative.   This group was disbanded at the end of 2009 as a result of a company reorganization.  Mr. Brown now consults and sits on corporate and non-profit boards.
